Laurel House is a community based organisation that provides therapeutic services and support for women, men and children who have been affected by either historic or current sexual abuse or assault. Laurel House is a free service to victim/survivors and their families, friends and support people.
AK Young Women’s Emergency Accommodation Service provides young women with appropriate support to address their identified needs
This service matches volunteers with disaster and emergency management agencies (“Organisations” – including all levels of government, well known charitable organisations and community groups).
We provide limited emergency relief – the FoodShed opens 2 – 3pm weekdays with fresh produce (cost recovery & some free supplies) and free bread. Bread is left in trolley outside FoodShed from 2pm till late. Ask inside House during office hours (9am-4pm) for limited emergency relief long-life supplies.
Rokeby Neighbourhood Centre is a safe and welcoming place offering a wide range of support services and activities to the local community.
