Our Community Outreach Team connect SETAC to our Community. SETAC continues to deliver Community Support Programs.
Through Care2Serve, the Tasmanian provider of the Australian Government Carer Gateway program, young carers can access a range of support and information that can help them in their caring role.
YET provides a clinical, holistic, therapeutic outreach service for young people aged 12-25, and their families in Northern and North West Tasmania.
We provide information to support people to understand the NDIS. We can assist with applying for access and develop, review and implement NDIS plans alongside participants. We support people with disabilities to find and connect to supports and groups in their local communities and work with communities to build their capacity to be welcoming places for all people.
Respite care is short-term care available to a person and their care giver. Respite care provides help for carers so that they can take part in everyday activities or go on holidays while ensuring that the person receiving care is looked after, and given a break to recharge their batteries.
Family Planning Tasmania’s Education and Clinical staff provide high quality relationships, sexuality, reproductive and sexual health education and health promotion statewide.
We are the first peak health consumer organisation in Tasmania encompassing all patients, carers and communities.
Doorways provides emergency relief and holistic case management with referral to internal and external support services. It aims to support people as they seek to make changes in their lives. We believe everyone has the capacity to change and Doorways caseworkers walk alongside people as they develop plans to achieve their goals.
This program supports people living with a disability and eligible for the NDIS. It includes SIL and Community Support Services.
Kin Raising Kids Tasmania is a community group of kinship carers in Tasmania. It promotes the value of family-based care and advocates for the rights and needs of Kinship Carers.
Dress for Success Tasmania offers clothing and styling support for women in transitions like re-entering the workforce. Our career support program includes resume tips, job guidance, and workshops to empower women in achieving their goals.
Libraries Tasmania is here to support you with your lifelong learning goals. We offer a range of programs and services to help you learn for pleasure, work, study and everyday life.
