Assistance available includes food relief such as hampers and ready-to-eat meals.
Other services available include food resilience activities such as community gardens and cooking classes.
We can help with house cleaning, vacuuming, bathrooms, washing and ironing. We can also shop for food, prepare appetizing and nutritious meals.
We receive food from Coles and Loaves & Fishes which we organise and put out for the community to get what they need. No requirements need to be met to collect from this service, it is for anyone who needs it.
We provide emergency support and assistance for people in need in the form of food vouchers, food hampers, clothing, blankets, baby nappies, budget and financial advice.
Our Food 4 Thought breakfast program provides students with a nutritious breakfast prepared in the Loaves and Fishes Tasmania Devonport kitchen. Chaplains also provide support in times of crisis.
GeCo is a strong believer in food security. We have 4 food-based programs at GeCo for all budgets. If you’re struggling to figure out where the next meal is coming from, or are looking for a social setting to share a meal with some friends, we can help! Kingston Neighbourhood House is a friendly, supportive and welcoming place for people living in our community. We offer a range of services, support and programs.
Vinnies Van provides soup, sandwiches, hot drinks, fruit, friendship, referral and support.
Mobile in nature and operating within many of the most disadvantaged areas in and around Launceston and the North West of Tasmania the trailer provides no cost food, beverages and recreational activities to the community.
The Geeveston Community Centre runs a wide range of programs, courses and services to the local community.
We provide a free community meal every Tuesday night and also food relief for those in need.
