NDIS Local Area Coordination by Baptcare

We provide information to support people to understand the NDIS. We can assist with applying for access and develop, review and implement NDIS plans alongside participants. We support people with disabilities to find and connect to supports and groups in their local communities and work with communities to build their capacity to be welcoming places for all people.

NDIS Early Childhood Early Partners

Supporting children aged 0 – 6 and their families, we tailor the supports to the child’s individual needs and circumstances. We provide information to connect to appropriate supports, provide short term intervention, help with NDIS access and work with you to develop an NDIS plan.

Yemaya Women’s Support Service

Yemaya is a confidential and free counselling and support service. We provide medium to long term support to women who are experiencing or have experienced abuse by an intimate partner.

A website with one step navigation for people with low literacy and/or low digital literacy. All resources are in Easy English for people who have limited literacy.

Huon Domestic Violence Service

We provide a free and confidential counselling, support and practical assistance to those living in the Huon Valley experiencing or impacted by domestic violence.

We are available 9 am to 4.30 pm (Mon-Friday)

PALHELP: In Home Palliative Care Companions

NEED HELP? | Palhelp  is here for you to provide in-home companionship if you are living with a life-limiting condition.

Our support is a no cost service, provided by members of our Palhelp team, who are skilled in understanding your concerns.

Palhelp is available in addition to your aged care package, community nursing or other support services.

There is no charge and you choose the appointment times and how long your support lasts, from 1-3 hours.

It’s hard to describe how important it is to have someone who is there, just for you, with no agenda, no medical intervention, nothing required of you: just ‘me time’ for you.

Emergency Relief for Temporary Visa Holders

These are emergency relief payments, not income support. We can only provide one-off, limited amounts to help people with essential needs like food and medicine.
