Family Support Service by 54 Reasons

Family Support Specialists build knowledge, skills, and capacity around parenting to enable families to give their children the best possible opportunities.

The Family Support Specialist provides visits in the family home, supporting them to achieve their parenting goals. This can include parenting education, emotional support, help with connecting to their local community, and referrals to specialised services where necessary.

54 reasons works with families utilising strengths based, client-centred and solutions-focused approaches. Our Family Support Specialists use Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as our trauma informed approach.

To be eligible for this service you must live in the designated catchment area:
Greater Hobart, Huon, Circular Head and King Island.
