West Tamar Youth Outreach Service

The West Tamar Youth Outreach Service provides a clinical, holistic, therapeutic outreach service for young people and their families living north from Legana, Exeter, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas. The program is for young people who would like support to work through a range of issues including; depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family issues, sexuality and body image.

Who this service is for

Referrals are accepted from a range of service providers, GPs, schools, self-referrals and referrals from family members. A Mental Health Care Plan is not required but is encouraged.

Eligible young people:

• Aged 12-25 years
• Located north from Legana, Exeter, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas
• Require therapeutic support to assist with a range of mild to moderate mental health concerns
• Require coordination of care to enhance social and emotional health and wellbeing and to connect with education, employment, social networks and support services

Monday to Friday: 9 – 5pm

How this service is delivered

  • We'll come to you (outreach)

    Outreach appointments are offered in schools in Beaconsfield and Exeter; and at the Tresca Community Centre. Extended areas can be negotiated upon referral. Appointments can range from face to face, office based or via telehealth.
