The People Project
The People Project Tasmania is a not-for-profit company dedicated to delivering high-quality disability services that make a genuine difference in people’s lives. As an NDIS-registered provider, we specialise in Support Coordination and Plan Management, offering personalised, respectful, and face-to-face support for participants and their families.
Our team helps people build the skills and confidence to understand and use their NDIS plans effectively. We support participants to connect with the right organisations, coordinate the mix of services they need, and work towards greater independence and meaningful community involvement. From navigating day-to-day supports to preparing for plan reviews, we’re here to walk alongside participants every step of the way.
While disability services are at the heart of what we do, The People Project also contributes to stronger health outcomes across Tasmania as a Rural Workforce Agency. We are contracted by the Australian Government to help recruit and retain GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals—particularly in rural and remote communities. This broader work supports our mission to improve the wellbeing of Tasmanians by ensuring people have access to quality providers and services across the state.
Across all areas of our organisation, our values guide us: integrity, creativity, teamwork, commitment, and respect. We believe in the right people in the right roles, in the right place, working together for a more inclusive, empowered, and healthier Tasmania.
