Support for Families of Children and Young People with Disability

The Association for Children with Disability (Tas) or ACD Tas as we are widely known, is a not for profit family organisation that provides information, NDIS support coordination, advocacy, training and education and parent and carer support for Tasmanian families of children and young people with disability.

We also provide statewide phone support.

  By use of the ACD Tas Freecall number (1800 244 742) families can, share information, access information about a range of systems, supports, services (including ACD Tas support services) and resources, be referred to a service or support, receive options and guidance to assist their situation and/or make a time to meet with one of our staff.

  We have disability consultants in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport.
