The Northern Suburbs Community Centre Inc is a not for profit community organisation that caters to the diverse needs of the community in the northern suburbs of Launceston. We are an independent non-profit, non-political, non-government incorporated organisation.

We have services operating from Rocherlea, Newnham and Mowbray.

The Northern Suburbs Community Centre (NSCC) offers a wide range of educational, leisure, health & wellbeing, social, and personal development programs including:

– NILS No Interest Loan Scheme,
– Computer/Internet/Photocopying Service (small cost for photocopying applies),
– Community Vans,
– Regular Social Groups
– Parenting Programs and Playgroups

– Learner Driver Mentor Program

-Craft Programs, Sewing Programs

-Community Lunches

-Celebrations/Events throughout the year

Who this service is for

The community in the northern suburbs of Launceston.
We support the communities of Rocherlea, Mayfield, Newnham, Mowbray, Invermay, Lilydale

We welcome all members of community and are a open aged organisation.

Some programs have a small cost between $1-3

NSCC Newnham, 49 Georgetown Road- Mon-Fri - 9am-4pm

NSCC Mowbray, Dover St, Mowbray- Mon-Fri- 9am-4pm

The Shed, 12 King Billy Crescent, Rocherlea- Mon-Wed- 9.30am-2.30pm
