NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention
Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) works with children aged birth – 7 years by supporting families to help their children develop the skills they need to participate in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life.
ECEI partners are the first point of contact for parents concerned that their child may have developmental delay or disability, and they can access short- to medium-term support without necessarily becoming an NDIS participant.
ECEI supports promote wellbeing, development and community engagement through a family-centred approach.
It’s about giving children and their families, supports so children can have the best possible start in life.
EC partners deliver the early childhood approach
Early childhood partners are local organizations funded to deliver the early childhood approach. NDIS early childhood partners have professional teams with experience and clinical expertise to work with young children with developmental delay or disability and their families.
Your local early childhood partner will:
- work with you to understand your child’s needs.
- recommend what early connections are best for your child.
