St Michael’s Association is a not-for-profit organisation providing care support services and accommodation to Tasmanian people living with intellectual and physical disabilities for more than 55 years.
The vision of St Michael’s is to develop independence through maximising the individual qualities of Tasmanians living with a disability. Our mission is to support the physical and emotional needs of our clients and their families through the provision of personalised care programs, training and a variety of accommodation services.
Our Programs include Community Access (Day Program), In Home Tenancy Support (Outreach) in client’s homes, one-on-one disability support, respite accommodation,transitional accommodation, group home accommodation (SIL) an Independent living accommodation.
Our training organisation, St Michaels Training, is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (Provider Code: 60067) delivering highly contextualised and supportive training for people with a disability and for those working in the disability sector, since 2003. St Michaels Training is the only Tasmanian Training Provider working
exclusively in the disability sector.
