Child, Youth and Family Engagement
CYFE provides a professional and confidential service to children, young people and their families. While focusing on the strengths of the family and building resilience within the family, children and young people remain the primary focus, ensuring their voices are heard and responded to.
Child, Youth and Family Engagement assists children and young people in developing their own individualised plan. Together, through one-on-one and group support, we work on building skills and confidence to achieve the things they want in their lives. Such as good relationships with family, friends and people in their school and community, engaging in meaningful work or learning and having a secure home. Groups may include a focus on self-esteem, resilience, anger, goal setting and life skills.
Practical assistance is provided for the whole family to support children and young people in their mental health and wellbeing goals, including information, referral and education.
