Bi-Cultural Community Health Program

This program assists people from refugee background who are settling in Tasmania to make informed decisions around their wellbeing and independently access appropriate health services.

Bi-Cultural Community Health Workers also assist mainstream health personnel to understand different cultural approaches to health and how to provide responsive and effective services to people from diverse backgrounds.
