Eating Disorder Carer – Support Group

A support group is a space where you can feel free to discuss topics related to your friend or loved one’s recovery from body image issues or eating disorders.

Get strength and support from others who are on the same journey
Our facilitators have experience of caring for someone with an eating disorder.

Who this service is for

Anyone caring for someone with eating disorders or body image issues.

Age: 18yo and over.

The Butterfly Foundation recognises eating disorders can affect anyone regardless of race, colour, culture, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or gender identity. Our services are an inclusive and safe space for all members of our community.

Cost

Free. Thanks to Tasmanian State Government.

Third Tuesday of the month, 7:00 – 8:30 pm

    Currently the groups are run via Zoom due to Covid-19.

    Register to attend via the website or email Georgina- Eating Disorders Coordinator.
    Groups are held monthly.
