If you are aged 25 or under and care for someone, you may be a young carer. Young carers may be able to get carer payments or other other payments available for young carers.

Young Carer Bursary Program
This is financial help to reduce your need to have a part-time job if you are studying or training and taking care of someone.
You might be able to get this payment if you are aged 12–25 years or under, in high school, or at university or TAFE.
