Rural Outreach Support

**COVID-19 Update - Our Reach Out Coordinators will continue to support our clients via phone, video conferencing and email. The office is currently closed. RAW’s phone support is also available 24/7 (1300 HELPMATE).

Our referral process remains the same and new referrals are welcome.

We are confident that RAW is well equipped to maintain the high level of practical support to those doing it tough in rural and remote areas across the state. RAW will continue to develop creative and innovative ways to deliver our programs, through consultation with our stakeholders, staff and other key players.

It is important to remember to take practical steps to prevent ill-health and maintain your own wellbeing, while still looking out for your mates and checking in on the elderly in your local communities. Picking up the phone or sending a message is an easy and safe way to provide support and minimise isolation and loneliness.**

RAW (Rural Alive & Well Inc.) is a non for profit organisation helping individuals, families and the community through mental health issues with a focus on suicide prevention.

We provide outreach support to rural Tasmania, as well as working with the community to undertake well-being initiatives.

RAW’s outreach program is available 24/7, our outreach workers will come to you, or alternatively talk on the phone. We offer a friendly ear in a difficult time, and provide information, support and strategies to help, as well as linking you to relevant services that can assist.
