Hillside Haven is a small house located on the grounds of the Christian Family Centre, which neighbours the Prison at Risdon Vale.

Onesimus provides accommodation for families who have travel a long distance. The house was built with funds made available through Tasmanian Community Fund and is available to families of prisoners, living considerable distance from Hobart, to visit their family member in Risdon Prison.

Families will normally only be able to book one night in the house except where there are exceptional circumstances (for example family members flying in from interstate).

Cost

A small fee of $30.00 per night is required to cover the expenses of cleaning and use of utilities. Payment is made at the time of booking.
