Emergency Relief and Support for Temporary Visa Holders

We provide advocacy, information, advice, and referrals to help people experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Financial and material emergency relief is available to assist with bills, health and medical expenses, transport, accommodation, groceries and other unexpected challenges.

Who this service is for

Tasmanian residents on the following temporary visas:

Student visa (Subclass 500);
Temporary graduates (Subclass 485);
Provisional Visa Holders (Subclass 489 & 491);
Temporary Skilled (Subclass 457 & 482);
Seasonal Worker and Pacific Labour Scheme Visas (403, 417 & 462);
Bridging Visas (Subclasses 010, 020, 030, 050 and 051); and
Humanitarian Visas (Subclasses 785 (TPV) and 790 (SHEV).
