Anglicare Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service Plus (ADATS+)

Anglicare Tasmania’s free state wide Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service (ADATS and ADATS+) is run by professional allied health workers who will provide you with tailored treatment designed to support you to reduce the harm and impacts of substances on your life.

Our Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service Plus (ADATS+) is specifically for young people aged 12+, or for people who are also experiencing homelessness or mental health issues.

Both ADATS and ADATS+ works within a brief intervention model utilising motivational interviewing and strength based models to help you take ownership of your own recovery with a focus of an initial 3 months intervention, and up to six months in total.

Our support includes:

  • Initial assessment and brief intervention
  • 6 support sessions over a 3 month period
  • Aftercare plan developed if required with additional sessions

This program is supported by funding from Tasmania PHN (Primary Health Tasmania) through the Australian Governments PHN Program.
