Activity Centre and Respite Cottage – Summerhill

At our Activity Centre you can do as much or as little as you like. Join a social group, take part in an activity, go on a day trip or just have a break from home.

Our Activity Centre support general wellbeing and social connectedness and more specific needs including providing support for people living with dementia and those people who care for others.

We offer a range of programs and events at our centre, including:

• Arts and craft
• Gardening
• Day trips and outings
• Music and drama
• Pet therapy

Who this service is for

Our Activity Centre is designed for seniors living in and around the Launceston and Fingal areas who have been provided with a government-funded Commonwealth Home Support Program or Home Care Package.

If you are waiting to receive government funding, you may choose to self-fund your services until your funding package is assigned.
